It's a pretty random request all things considered. Kamala knows why she'd want to watch a future influencer. There are probably some cool tips in there. She's a sucker for a good video. Also bonus points for being Muslim?? She bets she can get a line on products that are halal which is a real #struggle. Sure, she shouldn't abuse her friendship with John to pick up future products, but also why not?? This is mutually beneficial!!! She sweet talks (read: is handed to on the first try) a device from Behrad's time and from there it's easy to pull up Zari's channel. She projects on a television in the Waverider and decides not to think too hard about how that's possible. 

She sits with John in her Ms. Marvel gear, notebook in hand, vigorously taking notes on all of Zari's tips. She only stops when the video they're on currently ends. She scrolls through options with a careful eye. "She's seriously a genius at this stuff. I've never seen an influencer in my time on her level. Where do we even go next? Face masks? Oh! She has a winged tip eyeliner video! Let's do that!" She frowns. It doesn't seem like John is listening so she asks in that hopelessly oblivious way that is so Kamala: "Are you distracted by how pretty she is too? Seriously, I'm going to get a complex from watching her."
