All Hell had broken loose so of course Steve was the last to hear about it this time. It would figure really. They call him in to fix something they broke, but not to rescue his teammate from a psycho who stole a terrorist's name. Typical. Steve is trying not to think of that right now. Fury is pushing for a move to DC sooner rather than later. He has no way of knowing if he'll get to see Tony again for another six months. While they're not particularly close, he thinks he'd feel bad leaving without knowing when or if they will ever touch base again. 

He heads over to the Tower in afternoon. He ought to call ahead, but Steve doesn't want to give himself any excuse not to go through with this. They need to talk and check in with one another. They are a team even if they're terrible at acting like one.
